Common Billing Problems & How to Fix Them
1. Payment Failed
Your payment may have failed due to:
- Expired or invalid credit/debit card
- Insufficient funds
- Bank or card issuer restrictions
- Temporary connection errors
How to fix:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click “Update Payment Method”
- Enter a valid card and try again
2. Charged But Didn’t Upgrade
If you’ve been charged but your account still shows as Free:
- Log out and log back in
- Check if the charge was successful in your billing history
- If it still doesn’t update, contact support with proof of payment
3. Duplicate Charges
You should only be charged once per billing cycle.
Possible causes:
- Multiple accounts using the same card
- Account upgrade was retried after a failed attempt
How to fix:
- Check if you accidentally created multiple accounts
- Contact us with both email addresses for review
- We’ll issue a refund if the charge is proven to be unintentional
4. Unable to Download Invoice
If your invoice won’t load or download:
- Try refreshing your browser or using incognito mode
- Visit Settings → Billing → Invoices
- Still not working? Contact support and we’ll email it to you
5. Didn’t Mean to Subscribe / Forgot to Cancel Free Trial
If your free trial ends and billing is triggered:
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the end of trial
- We’ll consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis
- Contact us immediately if it was a mistake
